Principal Comments

Here is a brief sampling of Principal comments from Spring, 2003 assemblies:

Manson Northwest Webster Middle School (Barnum, IA), Todd Abrahamson, Principal: "Fantastic! The students responded very positively – paid great attention to the message … Most inspiring message we have heard in a long time."

Carroll High School (Monroe, LA), Jacqueline Goins-Matthews, Asst. Principal: "I think (the program) is an excellent platform to reach young people."

North Cambridge Catholic High School (Cambridge, MA), Sister Ellen Powers, Principal: "It was excellent. (The Pro's) presentation was one of the best I have ever experienced. Students responded extremely well. (The Pro) related to our inner city teenagers in a way they could understand. His message was heard and hopefully will be heeded."

St. Francis of Assisi (Yuma, AZ), Robert Garcia, Principal: "I felt that the program sends an important message to our youth as presented by a personal experience from a role model. Our students were avid listeners who were attentive and respectful to the speaker. I believe students need to hear messages that will influence their own decision making."

Hanneman Elementary School (Detroit, MI), Reginald Kirkland, Principal: "(The Pro) was very relevant, very organized, and professional. The students were impressed and impacted by his message … we would definitely like to be considered for future programs."

Vicksburg Junior High School (Vicksburg, MS), Samecia Stokes, 7th Grade Principal: "It is beneficial to both students and teachers because of the practicality of the message and the genuine nature of the messenger. The students were most attentive and eager to listen."

Esther Dennis Middle School (Dayton, OH), Paul Beyerle, Principal: "Excellent! (The students) were well behaved and responsive to the speaker's message. He is a 'class act'. He epitomizes the values of what I believe professional athletes should model."

Crestview Middle School (Huntington, IN), Kathy McIlrath, Asst. Principal: "It was excellent! (The Pro's) message was perfect for our kids to hear. I've used (his message) to refer to as I am disciplining students and trying to teach a lesson with them."

Smithville High School (Smithville, OH), Maynard Yoh, Principal: "I thought it was great. (The Pro) spoke with the students, not at them. When a student was acting inappropriately, he dealt with it very effectively."
