Rushia has always used her sphere of influence to help those around her. As a child, she learned from her grandmother and mother the importance of taking care of the people around you and building a healthy community. As she grew older and became a star athlete, she recognized that her platform could be used for more than just influence in the athletic realm. Rushia has become an example of how daily efforts are necessary to reach goals.

To Inspire, Encourage and Empower Todays Youth

Students often lack self esteem and face tremendous peer pressure which may cause them to choose drugs, alcohol or even suicide. We work to see students experience:

  • Place (To belong and be accepted)
  • Purpose (Who am I, why am I here, where am I going)
  • Pain relief (Healing from hurts: physically, emotionally, socially and stop self-medicating)
  • Peace (Anxiety, worry, confusion)
  • Passion (Building confidence as I move forward in life)
